what you'll be doing

role description

You will play a critical role in managing the organisation’s resources and personnel to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a sustainable path towards the achievement of objectives.

Estimated hours: 16-24 hours per week (negotiable)

Estimated wage: $30 per hour (negotiable)

responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Zentient General Manager will include, but are not limited to:

Ensuring business continuity including by delegating and escalating issues as required;
Managing and supervising projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery;
Upholding operational excellence and efficiency through quality assurance and enforcement of standard operating policies and procedures;
Advising the CEO on devised strategic plans and goals set for the organisation, and providing regular updates on their outcomes;
Supporting VP Legal and VP Finance with basic tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll, contracts and documentation; and
Developing and monitoring basic financial models such as forecasts and budgets.

what we're looking for

experience

Experience in a managerial role is highly desirable, and a background in commerce or law is preferred.

Experience enforcing order upon a dynamic environment, including through policy and procedure;
Experience directing organisational resources in a manner optimal to achieving objectives;
Demonstrated experience in managing and successfully delivering multiple concurrent projects; and
Interest in company leadership and management.
